Room Booking

Bookings

Monday-Thursday: day-time bookings are available from 9.30am – 3.30pm,
Monday-Thursday evenings from 7.00– 10.00pm.

Bookings are available on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, but church activities may limit the times or number.

Room Dimensions

Main Hall 39’6”x31’

The seating capacity is 250. There is a small stage at one end. A public address system and an induction loop for hearing-impaired people are available. There are 3 screens (2 at the front and one at the back) and a projector for use with a laptop. These can be set up by our IT team, at extra cost. (N.B. Hirers must supply their own laptop and may prefer to use their own projector for compatibility reasons.)

Room 6 29’x23’

The seating capacity is about 50-60 in rows. There is a small kitchen and equipment for making drinks.

Lounge 25’x15’

The seating capacity is 30. The room is set out with soft chairs and coffee tables. It is separated from the Hall by a screen.

Rooms 1& 2 13’x10’6”

Each room has seating for 12 and is suitable for small groups and confidential meetings.

Room 4 (Wet Room)

will accommodate up to 20 people. It has a sink and washable floor.

Other Information

Equipment.

We can supply a portable screen, projector and an A Board for a flip chart for use in any room. Lightweight Gopak tables are stored in the Store Cupboard 2 in the corridor opposite the back entrance of the main hall and may used when needed by hirers. Hirers are expected to set these up themselves and return them to the cupboard after use. Please inform us of any requirements when booking.

Wheelchair Access

for the Main Hall, Lounge and Room 1 is on the right hand side of the building and goes into the foyer/coffee shop area. Wheelchair access into Room 6 is directly from the Church rear car park. Disabled toilets are near Room 6 and off the foyer.

Fire Regulations

Hirers should check where fire exits are, must not exceed the licensed seating capacity and are required to keep a log of attendees at meetings.

Coffee Bar

is open from 10.30 – 12.30 Tuesdays to Thursdays and 10:00 to 12:00 on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Drinks can be arranged and simple meals may also be possible for groups, but please ask when booking. In the evening, the main kitchen facilities and crockery can be used by prior arrangement, but groups must bring their tea/coffee etc.

Public Liability Insurance

is the responsibility of the Hirer, as the Church policy does not cover any accident to a third party or damage to the building caused by an outside user. The Church Council is unable to accept liability for damage or loss of property, or personal injury not caused by the negligence of the Church Council.

Contracts

will be issued to hirers, who must accept the terms and return the signed contract to The Room Bookings Team, The Methodist Centre, Stratford Rd, Bromsgrove, B60 1AS.
